New lighting mode «Daylight»
Natural light varies throughout the day, in intensity and colour: dawn, morning, noon, afternoon, dusk: as the day goes on, the light keeps changing. This light variation synchronizes our biological clock, also known as the circadian cycle. Our metabolic activity, energy and mood are closely related to this cycle.
Up to now, the lighting in homes and workplaces has completely ignored this cycle. Today, and for the first time in the history of lighting, the Savant control system introduces the “daylight” function. This is the lighting control functionality capable of aligning the lighting characteristics of the premises to match the natural circadian progression based on the time of day.
Designed to promote a healthy lifestyle, the “daylight” mode can be customized by each user based on their lifestyle and situation. Beyond the default settings (scientific settings), users can customize their lighting experience by adjusting the timing, intensity and color temperature to suit their daily habits. Users can enable and disable “daylight” mode in specific rooms of the home from the Savant application, in addition to having wall-mounted keyboard buttons to instantly replace circadian settings for specific task lighting, entertainment settings and more.
Any Savant scene can include daylight mode settings, providing users with instant access at the touch of a button. For example, the cooking scene activated in daylight mode at 10:00 a.m., will provide a fresh light, aligned with that of that time of day. On the other hand the same scene activated at 20h will offer a softer and warmer light, in conformity with the evening hours, maintaining the circadian rhythm and a healthier cycle.
Daylight mode can be easily overridden if necessary for specific tasks, events or depending on the mood of the moment. Savant does it simply and automatically, improving the quality of life for everyone in the house.
